This is what local food looks like in the early spring. We start with the seed. We make thousands of soil blocks by hand, seed each one, and tend them with care. We work on beds with broadforks and hoes. Stir some biodynamic preparations to put on the newly tilled soil; to encourage the breakdown of soil, good growth and deep roots in the tiny seedlings. We plant each seedling by hand, and then cover with fabric to protect the fragile new plants from cold and pests. We give our best in hopes of bringing you the most beautiful, nutritious food.
We hope you’ll join us this season and enjoy the bounty of our labor!
